About Horse Books Online

Horsebooks.com.au is owned and operated by Mumford Publishing & Associates Pty Ltd, a family-owned book publisher based in Melbourne since 2004.

Horsebooks was foundered by Stephen Walters, whose love of horses and all things equine began with his daughter Sarah, and her years of involvement with horses and equestrian sport. It is now run by Mary Mumford and Geoff Hudson who work closely with Stephen Walters. Mary and Stephen have had a long association together in the book trade.

Horsebooks was established to give people who are seriously interested in horses - riders, trainers, breeders, equine vets , etc - easy access to a huge range of quality equine books. It seems that most bookshops and saddleries carry a very limited range of equestrian books and DVDs, (if any at all) so Horsebooks fills this gap in the equestrian marketplace.

We’re regularly adding more publishers to our vast range of quality horse books and DVDs, as well as new titles every month from our existing stable of fine publishers.
